Building Your Dream House of Success With Self Confidence, Brick by Brick

The motivation to engage and keep up your self confidence, in an atmosphere that may be described as often merciless, will die quickly if you are not prepared for the traps and scams promising success that are the money making cobwebs in the World Wide Web. These money making scams of promised success are like cobwebs in the corners of your wall of self confidence, the cob webs concentrated and drawn on the hard work of somebody else contain spiders ready to have lunch. Cob webs are weak and will not last, but they can trap the motivated who are only trying to build a dream house of success for themselves.

"A successful person is one who can lay a firm foundation with the bricks that others throw at him or her."
David Brinkley

So many lessons to learn and so little time to learn them. The amount of knowledge that is in the web can be very intimidating when the drive for success is as large as the internet itself. Without the vision of why you are gathering the knowledge solidly planted as a portion of the groundwork of your learning activity, the chance that you will give up is higher then you might want to admit. Set the long term goal to success and create short term goals within it. These short term goals are confidence enhancers that may be envisioned as bricks that will build your dream house of success.

Achieving any short term goal will add another brick to the wall of self confidence as each short term goal is realized. With patience and persistence you will have realized for your self, after having reached the long term goal, that it is not just the goal that is a success but also self confidence has been boosted and a house made of self confidence is a dream house that we all want to live in.

A major number of the bricks in your wall of self confidence need to be learning and letting the foundation of your dream house of success be built with patience and research. Listen to your instincts when a success deal that is "too good to be true" is being offered. And if you get caught in a cob web and realize it, do not sweat it, learn from the mistake and move on. For many the best lessons learned are by making mistakes, because they are not so easily forgotten.

"A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing."
George Bernard Shaw

Keep the long term goal solid in mind and make sure it is realistic. Remembering the past as you look to your future and it will serve to support the self confidence that keeps you looking forward and will also function to remind you that the wall already has bricks in it; each brick is a short term goal that you have accomplished. The cornerstone is the action taken to reach your goal and that fact alone is a reason for strengthening the self confidence to continue on.
